Dear Valued Customers and Partners,
GV Lawyers would like to introduce you Legal Newsletter in August 2021 with the following main contents:
- The hottest information about the novelties on providing cross-border advertising services in Vietnam will be updated in the “Latest legal information”. In addition, we will keep you updated about the novelties on the renovation and reconstruction of apartment buildings, and on the purchase and sale of valuable papers issued by credit institutions.
- Next, in the article “Who pays “old debts” after M&A?” by Assistant Attorney Tran Nguyen Phuong Anh of GV Lawyers, through the case of Minh Quan Company, we would like to analyze whether a company may be released from the obligation to pay its debts by changing the shareholders and the company’s name and who will be responsible for the debts the company had before an M&A deal.
- Enterprises are interested in the proposal on a pilot plan for employees, who have received the first shot of vaccine, to go from home to their workplace and the troubleshooting of the policy on loan interest and VAT refund for BOT projects in “Good readings for you” section.
- The section “Legal Guidance“ will be the latest guidelines related to: (i) Late submission of tax returns during the implementation of Directive 17/CT-UBND by People’s Committee of Ha Noi City; (ii) Issuing invoices for debt trading activities; (iii) Guiding the payment of value-added taxes for the goods that are sold and whose delivery place stays outside Vietnam; and (iv) Identifying associated transactions.
