For law students, being a lawyer is not only a traditional and classical career but also an objective of many prospective bachelors in law. Therefore, the work of a lawyer, the conditions to become a lawyer, the advantages and disadvantages during practice, the career prospects, etc. are always a great concern of law students who aspire to pursue this profession.
With the desire to share career stories and orientations with law students, on October 3, 2020, Mr. Tran Thanh Tung – Partner of GV Lawyers – attended the Livestream session with the topic “Practicing Law” organized by Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, in the career consultation series of the school.
With nearly 20 years of experience in professional legal practice and more than 11 years of teaching practicing skills to young lawyers at the Judicial Academy, Mr. Tung shared the insights of this profession by suggesting career orientation as well as giving practical advice for students to become talented lawyers.
The program has received intense interest from students as well as those who have the passion and desire to pursue a professional law practice. The topic “Practicing Law” drew the audience’s attention to more expected similar programs in the future.
