Recently, Lawyer Trần Thanh Tùng, a Partner at Global Vietnam Lawyers, participated in an online legal discussion titled “From Civil Transactions to Criminal Verdicts.”
The discussion highlighted that capital contribution agreements are crucial legal tools for project implementation and investment partnerships. However, prolonged disputes often arise from initial civil agreements. In particular, a lack of transparency and legal compliance in transactions can lead to severe consequences, shifting from civil to criminal liability. Key legal questions were explored, including distinguishing civil from criminal responsibilities, the obligations of parties, and mitigating legal risks when executing contracts.
