GV Lawyers would like to introduce the seminar titled “Workshop to comment on draft set of criteria for assessing environmental and social impacts in protected areas of natural landscape and biodiversity” Vietnam International Law (VSIL) in collaboration with the Department of Laws and International Treaties – Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The project is funded by the Justice Initiative Promotion Fund of the European Union (EU).
Contributing to this seminar was the participation of Luật sư Ngô Thị Diễm – Global Vietnam Lawyers about practice in environmental protection and appraisal of assessment reports.
The conference program is expected to take place with the following specific objectives and contents:
- Discuss the legal criteria of Vietnam and relevant international treaties to which Vietnam is a party;
- Discuss problems and difficulties in the construction and appraisal of environmental impact assessment reports;
- Share awareness about criteria and legal requirements for environmental impact assessment.

⭐⭐Hopefully through the workshop with useful information from local government agencies, social organizations, experts, scientists, and guests, we can build a publicize legally binding criteria for environmental and social impact assessment in protected areas of natural heritage that are appropriate on policy, legal and practical grounds.
