- In the “Update latest regulations“ section, we will keep you updated about the novelties on Vietnamese guest workers under contracts, on working time and break time for seasonal workers, on sanctioning administrative violations in the field of planning and investment, as well as guidelines for identifying and reporting spam messages, spam calls and spam emails.
- Next, the article “Vietnamese National Anthem seen from Intellectual Property Law to practical application” by Lawyer Le Quang Vy, Partner of GV Lawyers and Paralegal Nguyen Thong Cam Tu mentioned the fact that the National Anthem music in the football match between Vietnam and Laos was interrupted to clarify the issue of establishing and protecting the owner’s rights to the recording of the National Anthem background music, thereby proposing policies and regulations on the use of the Vietnamese National Anthem.
- Enterprises will be interested in the National Assembly agreeing to reduce the value-added tax rate by 2% in 2022 in “Good readings for you” section.
- In the section “Legal Guidance“, we will update the questions related to tax policy such as: (i) Value-added tax refund for projects using non-refundable ODA; (ii) Personal income taxes on payments to individuals providing occasional services; (iii) Contractor taxes on brokerage commissions; and (iv) Instructions for issuing invoices.
- The last part of the Legal Newsletter is, as usual, the list of selected legal documents issued in December 2021.
